It was actually recently at Stromlo when I was supporting a participant who was quite nervous about getting in the pool. It took a lot of gentle encouragement, reassurance and patience. Eventually, he gathered the courage to take that first step into the pool. The moment he got in and realised he'd overcome his fear, his face lit up with the biggest grin and he couldn't stop laughing the whole time we were in the pool. It was such a joyful reminder of how powerful such small wins can be - not just for the participants, but also for us as support workers too.

Testimonials

Willing to Care always go above and beyond for the wellbeing and needs of both their clients and support staff as was evident during the COVID years when their top priority was to always minimise the risk of spreading illness.

Our daughter has been receiving support for a while and Willing to Care have always provided appropriate female support workers who are close to her own age. This means that when she has had 1:1 support she has benefitted from the company of someone as young and  enthusiastic as she is.

Willing to Care staff are always very open to any questions we may have and are genuinely dedicated to providing the right support for clients with diverse needs.

I would thoroughly recommend Willing to Care as a support provider; they really care about the people they support and will do their utmost to meet their required needs.

Julia

With us since 20xx
My favourite part of Willing to Care has been their genuine care, and the support I’ve received from the people who work there. They are very friendly, they fulfill all my needs and I feel very safe with them.

Mario

With us since 20xx
We first met Will as a young support worker providing one on one supports through vacation care. What stood out to us was the compassion, kindness and fun that Will offered.

We have been fortunate enough to have Will support our son for nearly 10 years, facilitating social outings, accessing the community and attending therapies and now the provision of an amazing day program. We have complete faith that Will’s team shares our goals for our son’s development to attain his full potential in a safe and caring environment.

As Will’s business has developed and his team increased, we appreciate the way that each team member is carefully chosen to fit the team and meet the needs of his clients.

If you are looking for quality supports for your person with a disability, we cannot recommend Willing to Care highly enough.
